Discover our charming two-bedroom home with a distinctive southwestern/Austin style. From here, it's an easy walk to Zilker Park (the site of ACL Music Festival), Lady Bird Lake, hike-and-bike trails, Barton Springs, restaurants and food trucks, and the Barton Creek Greenbelt. it's a short driving distance to nearby clubs and neighborhoods, including downtown and South Congress Avenue.
We have just added a Stock Tank Pool, a perfect place to relax and cool off during our Texas summers!
We have lived in the neighborhood since 2001, and we love the laid-back vibe that characterizes this area. We enjoy sharing the space and the area with guests from all over the country and even overseas.
We have a full kitchen available, and outdoor gas and charcoal grills. The house itself is stocked with books, art and music. We offer Amazon Prime and Apple TV, and Netflix and the other streamers are available for guests to log into using their own accounts.
Please note: We cannot accommodate check-ins less than 5 days in advance or long-term stays for more than five days. We also can only accommodate 5 people or less to provide the most comfortable environment for you! Our house features a king and queen-sized bed in two bedrooms with one bathroom. There is also a non-foldout sofa which can serve as an extra bed for one person.
The house has a big fenced backyard that lends itself to hanging out in good weather. There is a firepit and the stock tank pool available when circumstances permit. (Please note owners cannot be responsible for any mishaps resulting from the use of either the firepit or the pool).
This home has an "Austin" feel in an incredible neighborhood and is close to everything you're looking for in a visit to ATX!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Davis house. The location is terrific and being welcomed with homemade margarita supplies and a fully stocked fridge was sublime. We were grateful to the Davis’ for letting us use their home for a bit of an extended stay, but we also felt bad for the inconvenience of them being out of their house for that long. Our dogs loved the backyard, and the countless books and decorations leant a very Austin feel to the home.

Summary: Great little house and home base for ACL. My youngest son called it an ACL themed house. It’s evident the owners are both music lovers and cooks! They left a fully stocked fridge and all the kitchen stuff to whip up anything you could think of. Both beds weee comfortable, quality sheets and towels!! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Summary: Great stay in this charming home. We have stayed here several times and are always delighted by the hospitality of the hosts who provide breakfast fixings, snacks and a margarita set up:) The house has everything we need, a comfortable bed and a big backyard for our dogs. We find it so relaxing and the location is near Zilker, which is perfect for walks, runs and a brisk swim. We will be back ASAP!!

Summary: Great location in Zilker Park area and close to just about everything in the downtown area. Great restaurants within a very short drive, though a tad too far to walk. Major grocery stores about 10 minutes by car. Neighborhood is very nice and felt very safe, a mix of older and newer homes. Mostly professional people and retirees. Not many students in this area. We did some late night walking and felt very safe. House was older but clean and had a well stocked kitchen, refrigerator and complimentary margarita bar! House has a quirky Austin vibe with lots of music posters and Southwest art. Beds were comfortable. Would stay here again.

Summary: This was such a great home to stay in while we were in town visiting family. It was so cozy and comfortable - had everything and more than we could have possibly needed. Great location just across the river from downtown Austin and just down the street from so many great restaurants and shopping! Plenty of room for our little family of four and a great backyard to hang out in and enjoy the beautiful weather. We will definitely stay here again!
